Instructions
Whisk together the following.
2/3 C. whiskey
4 T. oil
4 T. mustard
4 cloves minced garlic
1/3 C. honey
1 T. Mansmith’s Poultry Spice
Pour marinade over 2 quartered chickens (about 6 lbs.) in a glass dish. Cover and refrigerate for one hour. Remove chicken from marinade, transfer marinade to small bowl. Grill chicken over medium coals, turning once, for about 40-45 minutes. Baste during first half of cooking only. Transfer remaining marinade to saucepan. Mix 1 1/2 C. chicken broth with 4 t. cornstarch in bowl. Add 2 T. brown sugar to marinade in saucepan and boil. Stir in cornstarch mixture and boil one minute longer. Place chicken on platter and drizzle with sauce.
