Jacquelyn’s Slow Cooker Elk Italiano


1 pound elk round steak, pounded
1 Tbsp. Mansmith’s Original or Low Sodium Grilling Spice
flour for coating
oil for browning
1 medium red onion, sliced thin
3 cloves garlic, crushed
2-14.5 oz cans of Italian style stewed tomatoes


Pound the steak. Sprinkle both sides with Grilling Spice, coat with flour and brown in medium-hot oil. Place in slow cooker. Add onion, garlic and tomatoes on top. Cook for 4 hours on low. Serve with rice or noodles.
